Support for parents in Coparenta

The “Support for parents” section of the app brings together, in one place, what you can read and who you can talk to. It doesn’t replace therapy, a lawyer or a court. This page describes the app as it works on 2 November 2026. The materials, the therapy centres, the directories and the emergency numbers are all in Romania, and the materials are in Romanian.

1. I want to learn more

Links to therapeutic stories, articles and interactive guides written by psychologists, in Romanian. The materials belong to their authors and open on their websites.

  1. In the app open “Support for parents” and tap “I want to learn more”.
  2. Pick a material. Each one shows what kind it is (therapeutic story, article or interactive guide) and who it is for: “For you” or “To read or listen to with your child”.
  3. Tap “Read”, “Listen” or “Open the guide”. The material opens on the author’s website.

What it doesn’t do

  • The materials are in Romanian, including in the English version of the app.
  • The list can change and can be empty: then the app says “Nothing here right now”.
  • The app doesn’t remember what you open, and the other parent learns nothing from this screen.

2. Ask a specialist

A question you write, read by therapists, without them learning who you are.

  1. In “Support for parents” open “Talk to a therapist”.
  2. Under “Ask a specialist”, write your question. Don’t include names, diagnoses or details from a case file.
  3. If you want the reply by email, tick that box. The reply comes from the Coparenta team, to your account’s address, and the therapist doesn’t see the address.
  4. Tap “Send the question”.

What it doesn’t do

  • The reply is general, written without knowing your situation: it isn’t an assessment, doesn’t replace counselling or a professional opinion, and can’t be used as expert evidence or proof.
  • There is no response time, and not every question gets a reply or becomes an article.
  • If the reply comes by email and someone else has access to your account’s address, don’t tick the box.
  • The Coparenta team receives the question by email, with the full text; the email copy can’t be deleted from the app. The other parent doesn’t see what you write.
  • If your question inspires an article, it is mixed with others and its details are changed so it can’t be recognised.
  • There is a daily limit on questions: if you reach it, the app says you can send again tomorrow.

3. Talk to a therapist

A list of therapy centres in Romania, linking to their websites.

  1. In “Support for parents” open “Talk to a therapist”.
  2. Tap “Centres and bookings”. You see a card with the cities in Romania where the centres are.
  3. Tap “See therapists and appointments”: the app takes you to the centres’ website.
  4. You arrange booking, fees and confidentiality directly with the centre.

What it doesn’t do

  • It doesn’t book for you and doesn’t send any contact request: the booking step is on the centre’s website.
  • It doesn’t assess your situation and doesn’t send the centre any data about you or your children. The centre’s website only sees an ordinary visit.
  • Coparenta gets no financial benefit from this.
  • The list is short, covers only a few cities and is set by the network of therapists, not by Coparenta.
  • If it’s an emergency, don’t look for a centre: call the numbers above.

4. A lawyer or a mediator

Two links to public directories, so you can search yourself.

  1. In “Support for parents” open “Talk to a lawyer or a mediator”.
  2. Under “For you · a lawyer” you find the public directory of lawyers run by UNBR (the National Union of Bar Associations of Romania).
  3. Under “For both of you · a mediator” you find the public register of mediators.
  4. Pick a link: the public website opens, and you search from there.

What it doesn’t do

  • It doesn’t choose a lawyer or a mediator for you and doesn’t put you in touch with one. The app only opens a public website, with no contact channel, form or tracking code in the address.
  • Besides the directory, the screen may also show a law practice; even then the app only opens its website.
  • It doesn’t replace a lawyer and doesn’t give advice on your situation.
  • The directory and the register are Romanian.
