What Coparenta doesn’t do

It isn’t a court order.
The schedule in the app and the documents you export show what you recorded in the app. They are not court orders and do not confirm the time actually spent with the child.
When you are both in the app, it doesn’t change an existing schedule without the other parent’s acceptance.
A schedule change or a day swap reaches the other parent as a proposal. If they don’t accept it, the schedule stays as it was. One parent can save the first schedule, and that does not mean the other parent agrees. Nobody can accept their own request.
It doesn’t send what you write to AI without your consent.
Your notes go into the weekly summary only with your consent, and a message is sent for rewriting only after you have consented and tap the button. Private notes and notes in the “Health” category are not sent to AI.
It doesn’t show your private notes to the other parent.
A journal note marked private is visible only to you. Other notes are visible to both parents and to anyone with view access, such as grandparents. You choose for each note. If a note was shared before, the shared version may remain in the history.
It doesn’t track your phone’s location.
The app does not ask for location access, on Android or on iPhone.
It doesn’t read your text messages, chats in other apps or contacts.
It only sees the photos and files you choose or take from within the app.
It shows no ads.
Usage statistics start only if you accept them. They contain no messages, notes or medical records, and they are not used for advertising.
It doesn’t replace a lawyer or counselling.
